I just bought a lot — who do I need to tell?
Tell the Association office. The Rules & Regulations make notifying the office of any deed change the responsibility of both the previous and the new owner.
Can the membership list be used to contact me about other things?
No — the By-Laws prohibit using the membership list for solicitation, and any use of it at all requires the Board's express approval.
Can someone renting my house use the pool and the other amenities?
No. Amenity access belongs to members and the guests they bring. Short-term rentals are prohibited outright, and a long-term tenant does not acquire member access. A land contract purchaser is different — they are a member in their own right.
What happens to my membership when I sell my property?
Membership ends the day the property sells. The buyer's membership begins when they give the office an executed deed showing ownership. Unpaid assessments do not simply transfer — the lien stays with the lot and the personal debt stays with you.
