Social Clubs at Lake of the Pines

Our community at Lake of the Pines is enriched by vibrant formal and informal social clubs, including The Circle of Friends, The Men's Club, The Women's Club, and The SHE-Nanigans. Together, they host a variety of engaging social gatherings and fundraising events throughout the year, fostering connections and supporting our community.

Join us in celebrating the spirit of togetherness and making a positive impact through volunteerism!

Circle of Friends

The LOP Circle of Friends Club is a Co-Ed club whose mission is to donate their time to help both the Men's and Women's Clubs where needed on the LOP grounds and facilities. All funds raised at Circle of Friends events will be used to better LOP where needed.

 

The Circle of Friends Club meets formally once per month.

 

Our goal is to have a fun event each month, and to meet and keep in touch with our neighbors. We are proud to organize the following annual events, in addition to many informal impromptu meets:
 

  • Golf Outing

  • Ice Cream Social Fundraiser

  • Fall Hayride

  • Chili Bonfire

  • New Years Eve Party

 

The Circle of Friends is available to join for any Lake of the Pines Member in good standing, and they can be reached at:

Men's Club

The LOP Men’s Club meets once a month to discuss and plan ways they can help make LOP a more enjoyable place to live and play.

 

Our monthly meetings are on the second Wednesday of every month at 5PM, followed by a Social Night where we have a light meal (pizza, chicken, or subs) and afterwards we play cards, play console games on the TV, or just have fellowship and banter. All members in good standing at LOP are invited to join.

The Men’s Club participates in almost every activity at LOP. We provide manpower for projects like painting, repairing picnic tables, highway pickup, security patrol, campground cleanup and wood splitting, the annual pig roast and Beer & Brats events just to name a few. Almost all the profits from our fundraisers are donated back to LOP for Association projects or local charities.

If you would like to be a part of this Social Club and join in the fun and fellowship, please call the LOP office and they can provide you with the name of a contact person.

Women's Club

The LOP Women’s Club is a group that meet once a month to discuss and plan ways they can help improve LOP.  They donate their time and resources to help raise money by putting on special events to help the Association. Every year the Women's Club donates to four different local charities in need.

 

The Women’s Club meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 12:30pm.

 

The events that the Women’s Club is proud to organize and put on to help raise money are:

  • Winter Carnival (one of the best)

  • Father's Day Breakfast

  • Thanksgiving Dinner

  • Soup and Bread Dinner

  • Kid’s Christmas with Santa

  • MMI Picnic

  • Garage Sale

  • Veteran’s Dinner

  • Memorial Day Pig Roast

  • Adult Halloween Boofest

 

If you would like any information about joining the Women’s Club, please feel free to contact Geri Shaw through the Office. The Women’s Club dues are $15.00 per year, and all LOP members in good standing are welcome to join.
