Can I see the assessment roster?

Yes. The covenants require the Board of Directors to prepare a roster of the properties and the assessments applicable to them, at least **30 days in advance** of the assessment due date.

**That roster is kept at the office of the Association and is open to inspection by any owner.**

So the list of what each property is assessed is not confidential from the membership.

**You also get your own notice.** Written notice of the assessment is sent to every owner subject to it.

**Other financial information available to you:**

- **A certificate of payment.** On demand, the Association will furnish any owner liable for an assessment a written certificate, signed by an officer, stating whether it has been paid — and that certificate is conclusive evidence of payment.
- **The Treasurer's annual report**, mailed to all members with the notice of the annual meeting.

**One limit worth knowing.** The By-Laws provide that the membership list may not be used for solicitation by any member, person or business, and that the express approval of the Board is required for use of the list in any way. The right to inspect the assessment roster is not a licence to use member details for other purposes.

**To inspect it**, contact the office during opening hours and ask.
